July 01th 2010 - Search for new singer is being continued
To let you know what is happening in the Xandria camp and
how it is going on, here is a little intermediate report.
As announced, the concerts that already have been planned now have been
played with Lisa as stand-in on the microphone. At this time it can not
be said if there will be more shows with her. A regular tour is earmarked
only for the time with a new singer and a new album.
The next Xandria album is as said before almost completely written, but
it can be recorded not until the new singer is found. Therefore it is
unfortunately not possible to announce a release date for it.
The new singer is still not found, although the band has received many
applications since February. Auditions have been done with some candidates
and are going on.
So to every singer that has not applied so far: Please do so, because
the search is being continued and there is still no deadline at this time!
The search is over only at the time when a new singer is found. Infos
and contact for applications can be found here at the top of this page.
To the singers who have applied so far: If you have still heard nothing
from the band, we are sorry to tell you that you are unfortunately not
among the candidates for the auditions.
Nevertheless Xandria want to thank all of you for your demos and your
commitment to provide your talent to the band!
Directly from the band we would like to tell all the fans that they hope
to supply you with good news as soon as possible! Although they just can
wait for the right candidate, they will do everything so that it can go
on with the band and you can expect the next album in a not too distant
future!
May 28th 2010 - Hungary
We are sorry to inform you that the show on the Rockmarathon
Festival in Pecs in Hungary was cancelled.
April 17th 2010 - Concert in Russia
Xandria will play in Russia on May 28th, in the XO Club in
Moscow. For tickets ask your local ticket seller or the venue.
March 17th 2010 - Mexico Tour cancelled
Unfortunately we have to cancel the planned Xandria Tour in
Mexico due to circumstances beyond our control. The Mexican promoter that
booked these concerts has not fullfilled any contractual obligations, therefore
making it impossible to make the trip. All tickets can be refunded where
you bought them.
Xandria will be working on new dates in Mexico and once everything is clear
we will announce these dates. We feel sorry for all of you who wanted to
come to our shows, we would really have loved to be with you and play them!

February 18th 2010 - Singer
We have good and bad news for you.
First the bad ones: It now appears that Kerstin Bischof unfortunately
can´t be the permanent new singer of Xandria. Due to occupational
and private reasons she wants to concentrate on her non-musical career
in the future and cannot support Xandria the way it would be necessary.
We wish her all the best for the future!
So here and now we are searching for a new singer again, details for
applications follow in a few days.
We know that you are waiting for a new album, and we are very sorry for
keeping you waiting even longer for the new songs, with which we actually
wanted to enter the recording studio now.
The good news is that we will play the coming concerts nevertheless, cause
our old singer Lisa Middelhauve has agreed to step in for them. But she
will not enter the band again, so this will be an unexpected last opportunity
for many fans to experience her on stage with Xandria once more!

18th 2009 - Official Statement concerning the Friday 13th Festival in Dubai
As we have read in several e-mails, there is some confusion concerning the
circumstances that lead to the cancellation of our show at the
Friday 13th Festival in Dubai, last weekend.
This is the situation that we experienced that night:
We were supposed to perform at midnight as the last band of the evening.
Once we got to the festival site at 9:00pm, we were informed that there
was already a delay in the time schedule. To make a long story short: Eventually
we were supposed to perform at 2:00am and we were just preparing for the
show when our sound engineer came backstage to tell us that the police just
stopped the festival because of noise disturbance.
We were not aware of the fact that there had been no proper explanation
to the audience!!!
We feel very sorry for everyone who was looking forward to our show - we
know from your emails that some of you have travelled long distances to
the festival to see Xandria! And we also feel sorry for our collegues of
Rico Blanco, who had to stop their show earlier than planned.
We will be back as soon as possible to perform for you and hope that we
will meet again without any of the unlucky incidents that the date of Friday
the 13th obviously still has to offer...

November 06th 2009 - Festival show in Dubai
Although we thought this would be it it for this year, there will be another
chance to see Xandria live, cause they have been invited to the FRIDAY 13th
NOVEMBER ROCK FESTIVAL in Dubai.

23th 2009 - Birmingham Metal Fest
Next Saturday, September 26th, Xandria will play the Birmingham
Metal Fest in UK. This is probably the last show for this year, and after
it the band will go about the production of the new album.

Now there´s an official Youtube channel, where the band posts some
small clips from time to time. The clips (will) vary between news, tour
life, behind the scenes stuff, trivial blurbs and whatever comes to the

September 15th 2009 - Back from South America
The South American tour is over and we want to thank you people in South
America for making it such a great experience! You were a really fantastic
audience and we had an absolutely great time in the countries on the tour!
So thank you people in the audiences and also in the local crews! See you
next time!

August 20th 2009 - South American tour
starts next week
Our South American tour will hit Venezuela as the first date on tuesday
next week (further livedates here)! The shows are
near sold out, so hurry if you still want to get your tickets!
We are sorry we have to tell you that the show in Columbia has been cancelled
due to for us incomprehensible reasons. But don´t be too sad, of course
we will try to put up a Columbian date on a next South American tour again.
July 15th 2009 - Argentinian Fanpage
We are happy to announce that we have a new fanpage, this time from Argentinia!
It is great not only as a meeting place for all Argentinian fans, but also
for everyone searching for a Spanish Xandria source this is a new opportunity,
besides the great Chilenean fanpage we already have.

We are very pleased to announce that Xandria has been invited as special
guest for two exclusive shows from the fantastic American band Kamelot!
This is also the first opportunity to see Xandria with their new singer
in Germany.

March 17th 2009 - Czech
A big thanks goes out to the Czech fans - the shows with you have been a
wonderful upbeat for us with the new singer, it was fantastic! And therefore
there will be another show: June 6th on the Maskaron Open Air in Prague,
and even more shows are planned.

We all have waited long for this moment, and without putting you on the

February 2th 2009 - New Singer will
be announced on Sunday, February 8th!
You all might have guessed by the fact that there are so many new live dates
that the day wouldn´t be far: And right, in one week, on Sunday, February
the 8th, we will present the new Xandria vocalist to you right here at this
place!
January 21th 2009 - Czech
tour in March
As you can see in the livedates now, we embark on a short (3 days) tour
in the Czech Republic in early March. We are very looking forward to see
all you Czechian guys there!

Ok, there are two more dates for our South American tour in Summer:

August 27th - Peru (city and venue to be announced)
So we will infest 6 South American countries so far!
