The long wait has an end. We can finally and officially announce
“Valentine” to be our first single, taken from our upcoming

Some people, even some famous bands don't like Mondays... We do! As of this
very Monday, we are proud to present the name of our upcoming album:
"Neverworld´s
End" will be the title of our late winter release and we are already
completely thrilled to hear your feedback on the name - and the cover artwork,
which you can check out here!
Although the title may indicate it, this is not a concept album, but there
is an overall theme threading its way through most of the songs. However,
more about this on a later occasion - for now only this: It is not about
Peter Pan ;)

September 27th 2011 - "Out Of The Dark" tour about
to start - Prague night sold out - Paris show cancelled
There's only a few days left and the "Out Of The Dark" tour with
Amberian Dawn, Xandria, Serenity, Tristania and Van Canto is about to start.
The show in Prague is sold out already. Sad news for our friends in France
though: Unfortunately, the Paris show was cancelled due to reasons beyond
our control. And please note that Xandria will not be part of the show in
Vosselaar/Belgium on October, 8th. And, also very important: be in time,
because Xandria will enter the stage early! Find the tour dates in the news
below or in the "Live" section.

August 19th 2011 - Xandria signs to Napalm Records!
Band is recording new album for early 2012 release!
"Finally we can present some very exciting news: there is a new Xandria
album to come and we already roughly can reveal when this is going to hit
record stores: We are working intensively to have the new longplayer out
in early 2012!
You all know why it took such a long time, but this was due to our search
for THE right singer fit as well as for a few other business reasons.
After Manuela had joined us in December last year, we got to speed in all
essential business talks and finalized our songwriting, hence we are happy
to announce that we now officially are part of the Napalm Records family!
It took this time because we wanted to make sure that we would have the
best conditions to record the new album the way we want it, and Napalm
and us shared the same ideas, objectives and visions from the very beginning
on. We are very confident Xandria and Napalm Records with its roster and
expertise will make a great team!
And last but not least, this past half a year with Manuela before starting
to record the album was important to grow together as a band again, and
also to let the songs combine with her new wonderful voice.
We already have begun the recordings for the new album, to last throughout
the rest of the summer. With mixing and the final mastering the work will
be taking until end of this year, hence we are happy to proudly present
the new album by early next year.
In the meantime, Xandria will also be touring as part of the “Out
Of The Dark Festival Tour” along with VanCanto, Tristania, Serenity
and Amberian Dawn, hitting European stages in early fall. The dates are

After REVAMP were forced to withdraw due to illness, we are happy to welcome

Revamp vocalist Floor Jansen has not fully recovered from a burn out yet.

Xandria´s music is featured on the first of new breed
of digital books, an "acoustic book", where you can read and hear
corresponding sounds and music by clicking on certain words. The name is
"Der Erbe der Zeit" (German for "The Inheritor of Time")

January 04th 2011 - "Classic Meets Pop"
Now it´s only a few days left until Xandria will be
on stage with their new singer Manuela Kraller for the first time!
And as we already announced this will be a very special event: At the show
"Classic Meets Pop" in their hometown Bielefeld Xandria will perform
as a headliner together with the orchestra of the Bielefeld Philharmonics.
The event takes place in the Seidensticker Hall, one of the biggest locations
of the region, and there will be many musicians from different genres performing,
each presenting one song.

As there is a concert announced, you may have supposed it
- Xandria has a new singer, although she hasn´t being presented to
the public yet:
"The search has been long, but it has been
worth it! She is the one we have been looking for! We will unveil her to
you on December 20th, but we already have begun working on the finalization
of the music for the new album with her, so we hope to enter the studio
for recording the new album in the new year as soon as possible. Have
a look!

October 26th 2010 - Xandria live with orchestra
The very first concert with the new singer will be in the hometown of
Xandria, and additionally a very special event: As the main act of the
show "Classic meets Pop" Xandria will play one of their songs
with the Bielefeld Philharmonic Orchestra (Xandria will represent the
metal genre there!).
An extraordinary opportunity one should not miss - tickets are for example
available at Eventim.
"It was really great for us to get applications from so many talented
singers, and we are sure that on account of the applications we got we
can make a decision. We would like to use the opportunity to say "thank
you!!" to all the candidates who have sent us their demos since February
from all over the world in such a large number! We really listened to
every single of them and there were many good singers among them. But
in the end there can be only one naturally..."
When the time is there to present the new singer to you, it will of course
happen right at this place!
From now on applications are no longer possible.
July 01th 2010 - Search for new singer is being continued
To let you know what is happening in the Xandria camp and
how it is going on, here is a little intermediate report.
As announced, the concerts that already have been planned now have been
played with Lisa as stand-in on the microphone. At this time it can not
be said if there will be more shows with her. A regular tour is earmarked
only for the time with a new singer and a new album.
The next Xandria album is as said before almost completely written, but
it can be recorded not until the new singer is found. Therefore it is
unfortunately not possible to announce a release date for it.
The new singer is still not found, although the band has received many
applications since February. Auditions have been done with some candidates
and are going on.
So to every singer that has not applied so far: Please do so, because
the search is being continued and there is still no deadline at this time!
The search is over only at the time when a new singer is found. Infos
and contact for applications can be found here at the top of this page.
To the singers who have applied so far: If you have still heard nothing
from the band, we are sorry to tell you that you are unfortunately not
among the candidates for the auditions.
Nevertheless Xandria want to thank all of you for your demos and your
commitment to provide your talent to the band!
Directly from the band we would like to tell all the fans that they hope
to supply you with good news as soon as possible! Although they just can
wait for the right candidate, they will do everything so that it can go
on with the band and you can expect the next album in a not too distant
future!

We are sorry to inform you that the show on the Rockmarathon
Festival in Pecs in Hungary was cancelled.
April 17th 2010 - Concert in Russia
Xandria will play in Russia on May 28th, in the XO Club in
Moscow. For tickets ask your local ticket seller or the venue.
March 17th 2010 - Mexico Tour cancelled
Unfortunately we have to cancel the planned Xandria Tour in
Mexico due to circumstances beyond our control. The Mexican promoter that
booked these concerts has not fullfilled any contractual obligations, therefore
making it impossible to make the trip. All tickets can be refunded where
you bought them.
Xandria will be working on new dates in Mexico and once everything is clear
we will announce these dates. We feel sorry for all of you who wanted to
come to our shows, we would really have loved to be with you and play them!

February 18th 2010 - Singer
We have good and bad news for you.
First the bad ones: It now appears that Kerstin Bischof unfortunately
can´t be the permanent new singer of Xandria. Due to occupational
and private reasons she wants to concentrate on her non-musical career
in the future and cannot support Xandria the way it would be necessary.
We wish her all the best for the future!
So here and now we are searching for a new singer again, details for
applications follow in a few days.
We know that you are waiting for a new album, and we are very sorry for
keeping you waiting even longer for the new songs, with which we actually
wanted to enter the recording studio now.
The good news is that we will play the coming concerts nevertheless, cause
our old singer Lisa Middelhauve has agreed to step in for them. But she
will not enter the band again, so this will be an unexpected last opportunity
for many fans to experience her on stage with Xandria once more!

18th 2009 - Official Statement concerning the Friday 13th Festival in Dubai
As we have read in several e-mails, there is some confusion concerning the
circumstances that lead to the cancellation of our show at the
Friday 13th Festival in Dubai, last weekend.
This is the situation that we experienced that night:
We were supposed to perform at midnight as the last band of the evening.
Once we got to the festival site at 9:00pm, we were informed that there
was already a delay in the time schedule. To make a long story short: Eventually
we were supposed to perform at 2:00am and we were just preparing for the
show when our sound engineer came backstage to tell us that the police just
stopped the festival because of noise disturbance.
We were not aware of the fact that there had been no proper explanation
to the audience!!!
We feel very sorry for everyone who was looking forward to our show - we
know from your emails that some of you have travelled long distances to
the festival to see Xandria! And we also feel sorry for our collegues of
Rico Blanco, who had to stop their show earlier than planned.
We will be back as soon as possible to perform for you and hope that we
will meet again without any of the unlucky incidents that the date of Friday
the 13th obviously still has to offer...

23th 2009 - Birmingham Metal Fest
Next Saturday, September 26th, Xandria will play the Birmingham
Metal Fest in UK. This is probably the last show for this year, and after
it the band will go about the production of the new album.

The South American tour is over and we want to thank you people in South
America for making it such a great experience! You were a really fantastic
audience and we had an absolutely great time in the countries on the tour!
